Palestinian Minister of Education Honors Palestinian Childrens' Visions of Peace in Partnership with OV

We dedicate this issue of our newsletter to the memory of Professor Dan Bar-On, co-Director of the Peace Research Institute in the Middle East, who recently passed away. He devoted his life to promoting intercultural understanding, and opening new channels for dialogue between Israelis & Palestinians. With gratitude for his many contributions and great sadness at his passing, OneVoice sends its condolences to his friends & family.

OneVoice is working to build new partnerships with local and international organizations – from the Palestinian Ministry of Education to Tzofim (the Israel Scouts), from Global Majority to Search for Common Ground to a whole range of Jewish, Muslim, Israeli, Palestinian, Arab, interfaith, and dialogue groups internationally.

As we head into the last quarter of 2008, we face enormous challenges on the ground and at the top level. We need your help to keep the momentum going – to make heard the voice of the moderate majority who desire a two state solution ending the occupation and all forms of violence, and guaranteeing the establishment of a viable, independent Palestinian state at peace with Israel.
